Good free photo hosts...where are they?

I used to have an ok one, nothing spectacular but it had great amounts bandwidth and the size of my image didn't matter. Unfortunately it seems they may have forgotten that I have an account and lost everything with them.

I look and I look and it seems like most free photo hosts are for people wanting to put their "pictures from the bonfire last night" on the net, but I'm looking for something that can handle a bit more. I shoot between 3264X2448 and 1280X960...I do have smaller images taken as screen captures from my pc. Image size can be from about 1.4MB to 60KB.

So, any good reliable suggestions for a free photo host(I'm running on a college student's budget plus this is just a hobby...I NEED free)? I thought about using my NAM gallery but I would be taking advantage of them and only a couple of the pictures are MINI/NAM related.

I use photobucket, they work great for me. For very cheap you can get unlimited storage and bandwidth for 1 year. (Think it's like 20-30 bucks). I also have my own webserver, so between the two I never seem to go over my standard photobucket bandwidth.

IMO, flickr is the best. Not only that, but I think 25.00/yr. is actually pretty reasonable.

I already have a Yahoo ID so aparently I ALREADY have a flickr account. I'm trying out the free account, but my only problem is they haven't told me my limits yet as in Image size (dimensions and memory) and how much storage I get there.

I'm not saying that the prices aren't reasonable, I'm saying they are not reasonable for ME. My situation puts me in a position where I really CAN'T be spending money to host pictures.

Most people in PhillyMINI use Shutterfly and there is no charge for noncommercial use with, according to their site, unlimited storage. Sounds like a winner to me.

No I hear ya... and I didn't mean it like that, if you took it that way.

Anyway, I think the free flickr account has a 20MB limit. There are no size limitations on your photos, but you can save your bandwidth by resizing your images before you upload, if that makes sense.

They give you a certain MB limit, call it storage or upload. Free bandwidth for all the downloads you wish.
