Hello fellow Mini Motors...just wondering if anyone has organized a Mini gathering at this years Woodward Dream Cruise? We have 5 to 6 designers here at GM who will be there (with MCSs) and would like to hook up with as many other Minis as we can

 

Date and time if you wish to opine.

As a former Michigander with a good bit of driving history, Woodward Ave. is one famous strip of asphalt. A lot of automotive history has gone up and down that avenue !!
Would love to be there. What is the date and time ???

o.k. back on track..... i'll be there sunday to sunday. i live near there so some days will be with the mini and other days will be with my nova. P.M. me and we could meet up some night. monday-wednesday are the most fun nights out there. just watch out for the cops!

Saturday, August 16th is the "official" day. More realistically, tho
Thursday night is the warmup, and Friday is going strong!

IMHO, the best place to be is between 13.5mi to around Maple
road, plenty too see, but without the chaos of the 13mi/woodward
gridlock!

For those around Detroit, you might want to drop by
Auto-Zone @ 14mi/Woodward and talk with Eric Pasteiner (Sp?) their in
Birmingham and might have space...

Don't own a mini yet, BUT I certainly wanna talk with you
guys and see what their all about. I want an 04 MCS :smile:
I recall seeing some cool cat in the design studio (during
the GM Eyes on Design weekend- SSR open room), with a
MCS model on his/her desk... righto!
