Scooby03,
If you have any more information, I would be happy to post on my events list. I need name and contact info for organizers. Any additional info is helpful.
Is this a Mid Cal events?
You can post info here on NAM or send to norm@redwoodempiremini.com

This is a Shriners event.
Its the 2nd year for us to attend. We do it becouse its a good cause.
I don't have a contact name or phone number, but I can be the contact, as I know who to go see.
I will make copies of the flyer, and send them out as needed. Last year we sighned up and turned them in on the day of the show. We still recieved shirts. I will make sure we can do that again.
If more info is needed, just ask.

Scooby03,
I will list this on my events sheet with the information you have provided. Is it OK to list your email as contact info? For anyone coming from a distance can you give me a cross road of highway?
I am not familiar with: Location: Blackstone and Shields, Manchester mall parking lot. Same as always.
I did do a search for Shriners and car show. Didn't find anything on this show but did find some websites with car show listings that are quite good:
http://www.centralvalleyclassics.com/events.html
http://www.hubcapcafe.com/calendar/california.htm
http://www.runwalkjog.com/carshowstoday/california.htm

Thanks,

I now have copies of the entry form which I will bring to the meeting.
Also you can sign up on the day of the show and still get a t-shirt.
They are doing the club participation award this year, giving a trophy to the club with the most cars.
The Mustang Club seems to be the biggest threat, as that is what Ive been told.

Well I've signed up to be a member but so far haven't had a chance to get involved. I have an 03 pepper white cooper that I'll be happy to show up with "IF" I don't have to work that day.
Someone (Brian) saw my car in the parking lot where I work and came in to give me a card
How nice is that. Do I have to be registered for my appearance to count??? Stupid question huh.

This was a fun car show. It was sunny, but not too hot in the parking lot of Manchester Center. Taking over a whole row, our 6 MINI's received a lot of attention. I couldn't believe our cars outnumbered the 4 Mustangs, 2 Corvettes, and the 3 Camaro's.
Each of us had spent the day educating the public about MINI's as well as talking to those that have friends who own them. This was a great opportunity to reach out to those who haven't discovered our club yet.
Thanks to the club members & family who stopped by to show support.
Our Club had won the category for Club Participation. We won a trophy, which stands about three feet tall. It took two people to carefully load it in Brad's MCS.
Congratulations to Robert, he brought home a plaque for winning Runner Up for the "P" class (Import/Foreign) which we were entered as the club. Having a club meeting the night before, I was worried he might not show up.
Some of the club woke up as early as 5AM to wash&dress the cars for a 7AM meet. Everybody had clean rims, brakes, and no dead bugs. It's a shame everybody else inthe club makes performance improvements to their cars, and the general public didn't notice. I was kind of embarrassed taking first place award for our class. All I have is a bone stock yellow and white MC. Oh well, at least it didn't go to the '81Datsun.
