June 25th, run to the Sequoia's

Hi all,
Saturday June 25th is our 1st run. Up hwy 180 through Kings Canyon and Sequoia nat. parks.
Meet at 9am, Starbuck's, Clovis and Kings Canyon, on the north west corner by Walgreens.
We will go up 180 and around to 198 into Three Rivers, Lake Kaweah and Visalia. We will stop for lunch at one of those places. From there you can take 198 to 99 or cut back up to 145 and take it back to 180 ( nice twistie,s).
Hope to see everyone there.
Brad

Greetings Everyone,

Motormouse says Hi!

We had a great time at the club meeting last night. Looking forward to the upcoming Mini Run on Saturday. I'm getting some work done on the club cards and will update you accordingly.

Anyone out there know about the rear seat delete kit? It's supposed to be a carpeted flat cover to bolt in after removing the back seat. I heard a little about it but cannot find it on the web. Email me with any info you have.

Thanks
Leonard

Not able to make it...

Sorry to say that I will not be there.
As bummed as I am, I have Puppy training to attend @ 11AM. Having a stubborn 7 month old Scottish Terrier can be a little hard at times.

I believe Lee will still be able to go though.

I hope everyone enjoyed todays run, thanks to all who showed up for our first event!
Robert, great idea in bringing those extra radios. They came in handy. I am sure everyone who goes on our next run will have their own by then(hint, hint)

Speaking of another run, I was just looking over the printout map that Robert handed out at our last mtg, and I think a run up to Jamestown is in order. I have never been and would like to check it out.
Will bring it up at next meeting(don't forget, Friday July 15 7pm, Porky's Rib House)

Had fun guys, THANKS!!
Michele

Depending on the date for Jamestown, I know some of us NorCal MINI's would like to meet up with you.

Great run, Great people, Great beer, Great weather. What else could you ask for on our 1st run. Will post the next meeting today, and get the info on the carshow. Jamestown sounds cool, lets go.

Excellent run, even for a passenger. I will probably never be one again (I pick up new MCS next Saturday), but it was fun to be able to watch the other cars and scenery without having to look at the road. The twisties caused white-knuckles for a passenger used to having control, but all in all it was a great experience. I look forward to Jamestown with my own car.

Yes everyone great run, good cooperation and attention to the other drivers

I was amazed at the scenery and even more amazed at the quality of roads throughout the whole run!

The lunch stop was perfect, thanks Michelle!

It was good to meet some of you newer folks and good to see the familiars. Monica is chomping at the bit for her MCSC to be here soon, I dont know if she will make the next run with it, but the run after she should.

Hope to see some of you in passing on the road, and will see all of you at the next meeting!

Great job for a first drive!
