A Big Thanks
I would like to thank Dr. Steve for taking the time to fix my PC. It had viruses that would not quit. He extracted and re-installed everything to better than it was beforehand. Steve even "souped" it up and got another 17gb out of an 80gb drive. Steve saved me a bunch of money, drama, and the computer from going to the electronic dumpster.

The nice thing about Dr. Steve is he actually knows what he is doing unlike those "geek squad" folks who just know how to run a diagnostics disk and hope it catches what is wrong.
The Geek Squad: run away as fast as you can.
I and all my tech friends cringe at the thought of them.

The weather here looked just like it does today. You haven't missed anything.
Steve
. If you noticed I said "alive" cat
. Did that guy ever call you Steve?
No word so far. I probably have a clutch job coming up from Bakersfield later this week.Steve
When I was eight or nine, my cousin came over and grabbed my cat by the tail and swung it around his head and into the wall. Neither I, nor my cat, were too pleased.

How's everyone doing? It was cool hanging out at the shop last Friday talking about MINIs, jets, and anything else that came to mind.
Joe, I saw frackymobile II, pretty sick little car. The color scheme goes great with the black wheels.
Steve, I will let you know when I decide what suspension mods I will go with. Thanks for demonstrating how well the M7 coilover work. The look on the guys in the SUV when you cut to the left of them was hilarious. They were like WTF!!!

If you're interested in a coilover setup- lemme know. I'm going to be making a decision about keeping my H&R/RDR combo or going to my KW/TSH setup. Either way I have a suspension setup for sale.
Dr.Steve:
How's our project coming along? JIMINNImachine said the battery-box was cutout & things were lookin' good. I followed-up on the CF tunnel diffuser to see how that's coming along in the work-flow. We're making good headway. Should we run Helmholz calculations to get rid of the resonance or how should we attempt to deal with it? Oh, are we taking the heatshielding out & running M7 rear grills?

Heat shielding is out, but I'm not doing grilles unless the diffuser doesn't require cutting the bumper. I've now been running the single Deka battery for a month and it does fine even in the morning when it's 20°. The only time I start seeing a problem is after a few days of starting and stopping with no long drives in between. Running two of these is going to give us the extra reserve we need.Steve
Box is out, cover and brackets are made, but need installation. Exhaust? Waiting on results from continuing exhaust ordeal thread. I like your MINI sounds with just the stock header and cat and no catback. Nothing to resonate, but ver loud.

Check this out as a muffler idea for the straight-through setup: UUC/Corsa with "Reflective Sound Cancellation"

Not yet. I'll have some taken in the next two weeks. Dr.Steve's been taking good care of the car for the last couple of weeks. Oh, I'll be by CMS today for sure. Sorry I couldn't break away from my desk yesterday - it was pandemonium.
P.S. can you wash it, it's looks sad all dirty like that
.
