A Big Thanks
The Mazda 3 has gotten alot of good ink in the last few years as one of the best cars for the buck but don't be seduced by the darkside Kevin.
Your little yellow Cooper has more character in its spare tire than that 3 has in its whole chassis! You"ll feel a whole lot better once you're back in your Cooper.

Wazzzup gang!
So, my grounding problem is terrible & I just killed another battery (Interstate MT-47). I've had the OEM, Optima Yellow-Top & the Interstate. Dr.Steve's graciously offered to solve my grounding problem, but I'm going to get a new battery to go along with his project. Does anyone have experience with the Optima Red-Top (if so, what model number?)? Have a great day everyone!

Hey Steve what do you think of this post? This thread started yesterday.
Should we change my plugs?
is that the densos are real sweet when you put them in, but whether it's our cars, or any boosted car, the tiny electrode doesn't really have the thermal conductivity to get all the heat out from the very tip, and it melts and rounds. This has two effects. The first is that the gap increases ~10 thou, and the second is that the smoother surface increases the break-down voltage required. This has to do with how voltage gradients form near sharp edges. After the tip melts, there are no sharp edges!
Anyway, the combo of these two effects means that you notice changes faster with the Densos than with other plugs. This is OK if you race, cause you just change all the plugs each race. But for street cars it's not so good. I'm running the NGK iridium, but one guy that has lots of experience building big power, NitroMiniS, is running Autolites!

What a rattle trap.
No, I didn't find the rattle. As I said before, someone needs to sit in the back and find out exactly where it's coming from. I shifted the interior panels around a bit, but I haven't tried to listen for them since I warmed up the car.

. I will be there sometime around 4:30 today, please have it washed
.

No, I'm cool. I'd like to get something a bit more beefy than OEM. Any word on the Optima Redtop? I'm ready to have my parking spot back. Jill says we have to have a 2nd car again.
Chains are required from Coarsegold to Yosemite, and he has 3-5" on his driveway.
.
I will once I get my MINI back. A lot of times he just stays in town. He might stay tonight depending on the weather.
