A Big Thanks
Got my resistration done on-line today....Whoo Hoo!
Talked with owner of an alignment shop today....while he's never done a MINI before, he has done highend cars and has built up performance suspension's in the 18+ years in the business. Seemed to be cool dude and he would be doing the work himself. Also I could "hang out" and observe + fine tune it with me in the drivers seat. Going to let him give it a try.....under my "watchful" eye.
If this doesn't fly....I'll be down to Fresno to have the "pro" do it.

If you can find an old timer who will let you sit in the car for the alignment you've struck paydirt my boy.
Lordy! Watch out for Willum at the track now.
I know what I'm shooting for in the front but I get confused....CRS syndrome
, on the rear...1/16 toe out or in? In.... I think? Will be in SF on Friday/Saturday, so I going to shoot for next Sat the 19th.

Front: one sixteenth toe-out Rear: zero toe
2.25 neg. camber 1.25 neg. camber
factory caster
Sometime this week I'm going to reset the rear dampers to a stiffer setting like yours. Have a great time in The City.Maybe you should meander on down to S.J. for a dinner at Yankee Pier with Steve. Suppose to be top notch.

Steve
From what I remember from my hanging around my several alignments the rear toe is the one thing that is unusual about the Mini. Ya have to get up in the upper wheel well area to make the adjustment.Seems it is hard to really see how the ajustment is to be done. For the life of me I don't remember if it is a cam type bolt or just a slot.

CRS??? Actually unless you want the rear to be super stable(read no rotation) the toe should be at zero not in in the rear. There are lots of ways to set up your car.The one I'm using is Randy Webbs idea for the springs, sway-bar and dampers I'm using which if I recall is exactly what you are using.

Thanks for the settings and our suspensions components are the same, but mine is stiffer in the rear and 1 turn off full soft in the front. Hopefully I can tinker with it at T-hill next month.
We are going into SF via BART ($40 to park at the Hotel...what's with that?) and I'm leaving Saturday afternoon to take care of some things in Modesto then pick her up from BART on Sunday. + It's kind of a "girls" weekend so I don't want to or need to "crash" the party!
Maybe another possibility for a track day! And pretty cheap too

Chris,
Thanks for posting this year's SCCA schedule. I'm off on the weekends now, so hopefully I can tag along with you all now.
