Their toast. I'm back to the runflats until they wear out. I'll be buying street and track tires early this year. Ouch! Better tires won't get me past closed roads or chain requirements.

Hey everyone, we are on vacation this week in Monterey. I never did talk to Jan this week, I'm not sure if the tuning still going to be on the 22nd. He is going to be in Philly all week at Helix, so I don't know whats up. I will still try and talk to him this week and get back to you on whats up. See ya, Jim

I hope Blake made it home yesterday. I read in the paper that a foot of snow fell there yesterday, causing problems.

Don't know. Willum was having problems posting the picture so I took his link and posted it.

That would be mine.....'51 CJ3A 283cid Chevy under the hood, lot's of chrome. Had it for 12years and was pretty much a basket case when I bought it. Replaced or rebuilt everything. 23kmi on odometer and more than 1/2 of that was towed behind the motor home.....to lazy to disconnect the drive shaft. Lots of fun at Pismo Beach!

I can picture your 51 at Pismo just having a ball in the sand.

Morining guy's, we are headed down to Hearst Castle today, wish I had the Mini, before the rain comes the rest of the week. Guess we missed out on tuning, has anybody heard anything? It was 68 yesterday and unbelivably clear here. Could see Santa Cruz with no problem. How about there? See ya.

Hearst Castle is cool. Been on 3 of the tours with my girls.

Around 60 here today, it says anyway.

No hurry on tuning as it will give me more time to complete my projects. Jan will be free at some time I'm sure. It's cold here so you aren't missing anything except the fact that you missed a great New Year's Eve party. My car was completely covered in ice New Year's Day at Robert's and Diane's house in Madera. Have fun.

Brad I think you should leave something on your car broken, it seems like everytime you get it all back together again you do something to screw it up.

We're headed to Pismo next week to see Hearst Castle with the fam. Should be good times. What's our timeline looking like for tuning? I'm at a crossroads & about to tear into the backyard and start working on the Corvette.

Well it look like it will be, standing here looking out the window, I'm looking out over the ocean and it looks like its moving fast, not rubbing it in or anything, but my view is better than yours .

So what track do you think would be better for very very novice drivers? And do these events sellout?

Where are you staying?

Thunder Hill will be your best bet.
