Yeah its still the same leak in the AGS and then i am pretty much at the point the car kicks the fans on when the motor is off and keys are out of the ignition
Yeah it does go past the normal running temp. I don't know if I should just get a new thermostat or not? Would it be a good idea to get the M7 thermostat but then the weather here is around the freezing temperature.

Make sure your coolant level is OK and bleed any air from the system (bleed valve on the top, front coolant hose.) Make sure your coolant isn't frozen, too. Then change the thermostat. I have the M7 thermostat and it gets down into the 'teens' for long periods of time with no codes. It depends on the car whether or not it throws codes.
I got the first part of the front disassembled but I ran out of day light and the little work light i was using in the garage was too frustrating to work with so I called it a day and continue tomorrow
I took a picture of my Mini today that I sent to Chris to post for me, since I am totally IT challenged
It will show that I dont need one of Jans famous tunes since I posess the worlds fastest mini
alex. The thermostat works in the cold but you will want the temp to be in the 50s for proper dyno tuning. We had some issues as it was 20 when we tuned my car, but it was doable. Given a second chance I would have put the stock thermostat back in. I would have also fixed my exhaust leak but time ran short.
