Sounds good. I can live with a lil' bit of drone, just not what we experienced on our 4 mile jaunt down the highway. Here's the link to GT Haus: http://gthaus.com/main.php, which is where I got the exhaust tips. I can get over to your neck-of-the-woods tomorrow with the exhaust tips.

Note: JIMINNImachine- I like the first MINI Dr.Steve posted. That gets my vote.

I wonder if a moderator is *ucking with us? When looking at a thread for over three years you sort of notice if something has changed. It took me a minute to realize what was wrong.

How did you choose tips from that site? It's not like they are displayed together separately.

#2. If I showed her that interiour she would strangle me

#3. THATS IT! Thats look's almost like the one we built on Mini's website, except we used the JCW aero kit. But that seems to look ok. Those are the seats she want's, we used the same dask color also. Thanks again Steve.
+1 on #3.

Ummmmm....I was on there for awhile & saw them as part of a M3 setup. I liked em' so much I thought- "let's put them on the FPD!" I e-mailed you the GT Haus pricing/part summary. If you want I can fire it over to you so you can see the breakdown.

I already looked at that but there were no pictures in the price list. I'm sure there are sites that have lots of tips and pictures.

+2 on #1, but it doesn't have Xenons or Bluetooth like #3.

Not that anyone asked for a vote, but if we were voting I would have to cast my ballot for the red MINI. Until I entered my "white" period my wheels were red. I love my Xenons and it would be hard to do without them. My MINI came with them and so I did not have to chose. Had my car not had them I probably would not have known the difference, but once bit, it would be so hard to go back. Of the silver/greys I like the understated interior of #1. But red makes such a statement - like "look out, her comes fun". It looks like a little ball of fire. It's your baby, Janet and no matter what you choose, it will be the right one!

Right, that's why I called GT Haus & asked the guy what it looked like. When he replied "that's easy, two words- bad azz", I said "I'm in! Do you take VISA?" You'd be surprised at how hard it is to find an all-inclusive muffler tip site. There's only one I found which had +400 different styles & sizes, complete with pictures. I'm having trouble relocating it, but I'm working on it for you.

Jiminni,

If I had to say anything about the R56 the bluetooth and xenons were a great addition. The JCW aero kit looks a lot better then the factory one as the color matching side panels with out the fender black panels just did not look right to me.

I want to see them when it's dark. They look good, but I'm still not sure the lighting is the same in both gauges. They work great, though, and it's nice to actually have some idea what's going on in the engine.

It still looks like the temp gauge is brighter. If that's true, you might want to give Marshall a call.

Steve at night the gauges look alike. I know that in the sun the temp gauge is brighter it might just be the angle.

Thanks for letting us all hang out at the shop today at lunch time Dr.Steve! The exhaust looks bad azz & the piece de' resistance is going to make the exhaust note sing. The really cool thing is the Hyper Pipes visit is going to be pretty quick, ie. y-pipe & a final stainless weld.
