Installed. I don't think that there will be any possibility of chassis flex with the rear chassis brace and the roll bar. I clamped your exhaust together and took it for a ride. It is quieter than your Borla we took off, plus no rattle in the resonator. Your MINI does look a little ricey with the one big exhaust tip. Hopefully, with two, it won't look too crazy. You can pick it up tomorrow, anytime.

Niiiiice! I'll call HyperPipes to get in for an appointment. That's crazy about the exhaust though! JIMINNImachine & I were laughing about it this afternoon. It's weird to say it sounds stock-ish, especially after all the custom fabrication & having a part imported from Italy. The header install should clear that up....hopefully.

The car's going into HyperPipes tomorrow to have the exhaust finished & fitted, tunnel diffuser & header by week-end. We're on track. Here's the exhaust looks with just the one tip.

Yea Joe, looking at the diffusers yesterday, this is not going to be a easy job, at least to get it to look perfect. Lots of cutting and fitting involved Hey Steve I have a extra sawzall

They came out alright, but not as good as I wanted. I'll try someone else next time.

<I'm chanting> Header, header, header, header.....

We still have plenty of time for the install Dr.Steve. Oh, ya know I had a cool thought- we could take some ramps to AMVIV with us so people can look under the car at all your handiwork. Kinda like Peter & Randy did for the R56 last year. It'd show off your suspension work, USS, etc. What do you think?

How do you turn on your Sirius receiver? The red power button doesn't seem to do anything when the ignition and radio are on.

4 more days left for installation & getting CMS-display car(s) ready. Do you need me to come down to work this weekend?

Slight change of subject... I just posted a thread in the tire/brake section looking for folks that have tried the Cooper ZEON 2XS's. Not a bad looking tread but wondering how they stack up to the Dunlop star spec Z1's or even the GY F1 GS D3's that I have now. Way cheaper than the GY's and about $50/tire less than the Z1's.
thanks,
