Right, but you're the #1 pro at making things "not an easy fit" look like they're factory. I'm sure you're right about this being a body kit, but I've never seen this one before. Oh, I just sent GTT an e-mail for stuff we need to get for your & my car.

Those people at Cardini Motorsports are absolutely horrible. I tried calling them 11 times, left 3 voicemails & twice when the answered they said they couldn't help me & to call back later. Not that very many of us mad-modders are looking for GTT gear, but Cardini=awful & should never be used.

Customer service must be an unknown thing. It's a wonder that they are still in business. What's the eta on the pulleys? Is yours squealing too badly yet? We measured John's skirts and the should fit. The only problem looks like the wheel trim width. Looks like an interesting project, though.

Oh yeah, it's squealing for sure. I'm waiting to hear back from GTT on how to get the parts. If they say Cardini's their US distributor, I'll let em' know how great they've been & see if they'll ship direct. The side skirts should look hawt though.

Hello everyone, I have arrived in Colorado. What a wild ride. 2.5 days just to get from Kingman to Gallup. Hwy closed through Flagstaff and then when finally open it took 4 hours to go 3 miles in grid lock with about 3000 semis only to find that a section of road was not plowed so everyone moved very slow and it was like going off roading in a mini. Settling in and everything is in storage.
Thanks everyone for all the help. and yes John I plan on never living on the 2nd floor again.

Hey Joe
I have ordered from GTT a couple of times. Just emailed them all info or give them a call. I have been happy with the pullys I got from them.

A BIG THANKS FOR SURE

Thank You.

I want to thank all of the members who attended my Christmas Party this year. It was a blast. Fracky missed the tamales this year. And Brad, where the hell was Brad, you know the party is not the same without the Brad touch...............The white elephant gift exchange was fierce this year!!! Just ask those who attended.

Let's do it again next year. Until then........thank you for making it a success!!!

Well Steve you were right. Fresno is a "enhanced" smog area, so has to be done at an enhanced station My DMV reg. form said I could go to "any" station, but obviously not. I will call you tomorrow.

I could not take it anymore yesterday.. Finally knocked off my two weeks accumulation of spatter from all the rain and muddy roads. Looks like the weather is clear for most of the week so a great week ahead even if it has to be a short one

I need to do the same after the long drive. I tryed the pressure washer but that only got off the ice and big chunks.

I always hated having to get the chunks out of wheel openings and the rear bumper. The MINI doesn't look like it holds ice as badly as my other vehicles, though.

The front splitter acts like a big snow scoop on un plowed roads
With plastic fender liners the ice does not stick too bad, but there is not much space for it to build up so they do fill up fast.

I'm getting a new twin-bearing idler pulley & a new tensioner pulley. Well, one pair for me & one pair for Dr.Steve just cuz' I like him. Well, they didn't tell me what the cost was so if I get hosed on the exchange rate maybe we'll have to work something out.

I was in the Bay Area yesterday. What a mess, I really hate driving there this time of year. It took an hour longer to get over the Altamont Pass than it normally does during a bad commute. I also heard that a new study on the roads in California found that the Bay Area has the worst roads in the State. I've been saying that for years since I've driven most of them. I'm at 144K now.

You should go there someday. The accents very depending on where you are. You'd really think it's another language in some places. I listened to a multi-stage bike race commentated by a Scotsman and it took me a few days to understand anything he was saying. Maybe there are no US dealers because they can't speak the language. The terrible exchange rate may have something to do with it, also. I hope your current pulleys last long enough for the new ones to arrive.

It's in the cards for one of these days. When Jill & I were in Fiji, we had dinner with some people from New Zealand & I found it amazing that we were all speaking English & I could barely understand what they were saying. I had a blast driving the FPD yesterday, but you're right - there's a whole lot of squealin' under the hood. I'll probably let it chill in the garage until the new parts arrive.

Oh so you have time to go to Fiji, but no time to come to a MidCal party?.......
