Drivetrain M7 16% Pulley
Yes i experienced a little bit more heat but nothing that will affect everyday driving on your car.... I did go with the Denso IK22 spark plugs which are a step colder and it helped a bit.....

Some things to think about...
first, so you don't get worried, a 16% pulley is fine, and no worries.
Second, the colder plugs are colder by taking more heat from the combustion chamber and moving it into the coolant. They INCREASE the load on the cooling system. Think about it a bit and it makes perfect sense.
Third, I've found that the Denso tips change rather fast, and while they are the sweetest when you put them in, they don't hold a gap in the MCS engine. Others have seen this as well.

What's no problems?
Second, how do you know that the plugs aren't changing a bit, increasing spark voltage and shortening arc duration. You'd either have to measure peak HP or use a scope to measure the spark duration or take them out and measure the gap and compare it to what it was when you put them in. It may or may not have happened depending on how hard you drive the car, and the net result is not a lot of HP difference.
Third, 2,000 miles isn't many miles for plugs.

What I and others found
is that the densos are real sweet when you put them in, but whether it's our cars, or any boosted car, the tiny electrode doesn't really have the thermal conductivity to get all the heat out from the very tip, and it melts and rounds. This has two effects. The first is that the gap increases ~10 thou, and the second is that the smoother surface increases the break-down voltage required. This has to do with how voltage gradients form near sharp edges. After the tip melts, there are no sharp edges!
Anyway, the combo of these two effects means that you notice changes faster with the Densos than with other plugs. This is OK if you race, cause you just change all the plugs each race. But for street cars it's not so good. I'm running the NGK iridium, but one guy that has lots of experience building big power, NitroMiniS, is running Autolites!
