Will anyone be in Town Sunday July 6th for a Run?

I'm trying to get a feel for who will be in town since it's a 3 day weekend.

I'm thinking we could do Brad's Excellent (Offroad) Adventure.

I checked with Steve and he's OK with it since he'd have to lead.

If the response is good I can post a seperate thread.

Thought's?

Go Dogs!

Cheers Rob

Reservation Confirmation

I just got an Email from Doug, the owner of Orange Blossom Junction.

We are all set. He's looking forward to seeing us.

Oh BTW.
I might have told some of you that i helped a co-worker get his girlfriend a MINI.

Well they will be joining us on their very first Run Ever

Devynne & Ron are their names.

I drove the route after work yesterday and had no trouble remembering it. There is one detour on Belmont for the 180 extension construction but the route is otherwise intact. The twisty section past Wonder Valley has been repaved and you will not find a better surface for fun driving. Highway 245 has also been repaved in sections and all the potholes have been filled. It's like someone knew we were coming. With no stops, the run takes about three hours. We should get to Orange Blossom Junction in about 2.5 hours with our usual stops which is right on schedule. The only boring part of the run is from there back to Fresno.

I don't envy passengers on runs like this. I was a passenger once, never again if I can help it. I'm glad you can make it.

Fill up before you start so you don't have to along the way. There are few fuel stops and the prices only get higher the farther out we go.

Hi guys:
I dyno'd again on Thursday morning at Fresno Performance & need to nail down some a/f issues. Once I drop the Frackmobile off to Dr.Steve, I'm going to need to overnight my ECU to LA for some tweaking. All that to say, I can't get stuck out in the sticks again. Have fun & stay outta trouble.

Thanks to Dr. Steve

He led us on a great run

We did of course stop at the Infamous "off road" launch site, to pay homage to Brad.

I forgot how good this run really is.

The roads were just right for us. Just like he said , they knew we were coming.

New members Don & Joanne had a blast in their New Clubman.
Although Joanne won't be a passenger next time.

Lunch at Orange Blossom Junction was Awesome as usual.
Thanks to owner Doug Long

I can't wait to see Kevin's pics!
We'll do this again real soon.

Now on the the Whoa Nelli Deli!

Cheers, Rob.
