I'm gona try and make it. I "think" I have this weekend off. Not sure if my car is still in the garage......there's this dusty, spider web covered "lump" that kinda looks like it could be it. Will know more when I get time to wash it.

Nope there was a Vette that beat him and the guy in that Blue WRX that was there last time beat him.

I'm assuming he was the fastest MINI again though?

That guy in the WRX is a great driver. Too bad he couldn;t beat the vette... What was the time spread?

autocross

I had a great time today. Need to give a big thanks to Cliff for all the time and patience in helping me drive. Also a thanks to Chris & Willum for the pointers. And the biggest of Thanks to the cheering section. The Mini's was the only group with rooters at the finish line. I got a big boost from Shelly & Nick, Kurt & Marty, and our photographer Kevin & his friend Dave (I hope I got his name right). Ken

I'm not sure about the vette I think he was around 56 sec. The WRX was running low 59's and cliff was high 59's. Yes cliff was the fastest MINI.

Considering the WRX is AWD, that is a nice time spread. It just goes to show you that a well setup MINI with a competent driver can compete with an AWD with more power....

Cliff,
The place where I got my #'s is here...
http://izoomgraphics.com/
You can get as creative or as simple as you want......just depends on how much $$ you want to spend.
Mine are reusable vinyl and seem to work just fine.

I paid $28.50 + shipping.
good luck

Job well done at the track! I was impressed.

We had a good time in the cheer section. Thanks to Nick, Shelly and Kurt and Marty, there were fully stocked coolers and picnic baskets. My friend Dave had a good time. He said everyone in the club is very kind.

One of these days I'll do something with all of the images I have taken over the last couple of years.

Sandee doesn't believe I raced around the track. Do you have any pictures of me on the track? Ken

Thanks Willum. Sorry about not answering your post right away but I was trying to get a new handle. I've called and placed the order for numbers and class letters in white so they'll be seen when I put them on the side windows as God intended.
By the by Phil Wicks is still open for Buttonwillow Sept.29-30. Just a thought.
Thanks Again.

Sandee .He did. He did.
And on top of that he's pretty darn good for a newby if you can call a professionally trained ex-sheriff a newby.

Believe it or not it's the year I was born. You know before the Great Flood.
Pull my finger today is my birthday. Man I have no secrets now.
