Joining for real

Well, I made the leap. After hanging out on the sidelines for months I decided to join the game and got an 06 PH/S with 11,000 miles on it last night. Here is what it has:

Sport package
Premium Package
Cold Weather
Xenon
Harmon Kardon
Gauge Cluster
Interior Chrome Package
Panther Black Leather

On a side note...........
I went in to work this morning and was talking about the new car with a co-worker, when my boss walked up and heard us talking about MINI's (not knowing that I bought one or that I spend an obscene amount of time here during the day). She says "The other weekend I went to the Tim Horton's in New Albany and there were all these MINI's sitting there, it was strange. Did you know that MINI owners wave to each other when they pass?". I just started laughing and said "Yeah, they meet there every third Saturday and I'm finally going to be able to join them without feeling like a freak in my big station wagon!".

Welcome aboard, BAD!

The next MINI Mornin' at Tim's should be May 19. Hopefully we'll get to hear some cool MOTD stories from those lucky enough to go.

I was looking at the calendar and thought that the next one would be on 5/19. I'm working on a huge project at work and that is the one weekend in May that they told us to plan on working in case we are behind schedule. I guess just another reason to work my team harder during the week......"I don't care if you haven't left your desk for the last 12 hours, I need to get some Tim Bits on 5/19".

My word, LondonCalling. You live in my hometown of Hooterville!

It's not a sickness to me...it's an addiction. I've been in North Carolina all week and drove home this morning via "The Dragon". MOTD is getting cranked up already!!!!!! Wanted to stay the night, but too many things to do at work tomorrow.

I'm not really a big fan of TimBits, but I'll be there. I got my new wheels this week and I can't wait to show them off!

And Chuck - I never knew of "Hooterville". Is Mr Drucker still running the store? Mr. Haney still trying to sell stuff? Gotta love Lisa Douglas, though. Even in black and white TV, as a 10 year old kid, I was in love!
