Had a few days of vacation to burn off before the end of the year so I hit the Triple Nickel on Wednesday this past week. This is one of my favorite roads & the weather was great - had the top down the whole way Here are a few pics.

That looks fun. I might take that route next weekend my parents live a little north of there and I am visiting them next weekend.

 

Put that new swaybar on & have a go at it.

How are the roads down there in February in general? Anyone know? I'm thinking thuis might be a fun thing to do for a Valentine's Day event, provided it's not going to be all slush and ice that early in the year... Nice photos!

 

The roads are generally in good shape. But, it all depends on the weather. I've been down there when it's been ice & slush, definitely NOT roads I want to drive in those conditions. The snow fighters don't do much down there. I've been down there when the low parts have been flooded from heavy rains, not much fun either. I guess it's up to old Ma Nature. Watch the weather & have a plan B in place, just in case.
