Italian car show Dublin, 9-2-07.....going?

Hi just a heads up.

Tomorrow at Wendy's Hdqrs in Dublin is an all Italian car show.

Ted & a guest detailer from the left coast will be there doing the Griots demo.

Hope to see some of you folks there.

Sorry for the late posting. I'm lazy & LAME.

I plead, gross negligence & extreme ignorance. No court in the land would find me guilty.

That's my story & I'm sticking to it.

I'll have pictures of yesterdays show that I shot today in a bit. If ya grovel real nice I may post them for ya. Wise guy.

I stoped out there and man were there some nice cars out there. Especially the older non super cars. I didn't take a camera, because I knew Chuck would take better pics that I would

My favorite was the little blue Fiat Ghia GT. I voted him for best of show. He drove it over from central Illinois.

That was a nice one the pain was amazing on that thing! I also liked the yellow 360, but it is too new to be considered that great.

Was there a Noble in the parking lot when you were there?

No there wasn't. We were there from 10:30 until 12:15. I'm sure we missed a few good cars that came later. All in all a very enjoyable time. I really wanted to see a '63 250 GTO. Guess they are worth too much money to bring out into the real world.

Just watch Ferris Buler's Day off for your 250 GTO fix I was there at the end of the day (3:15 - 3:45) so there were quite a few that left by then.

Ted was talking to some guy about a real nice mustard yellow Alfa when I was there. Sean was talking to the guy who brought the Noble.

The car in Ferris Buler's day off isn't a 250 GTO. I think it's a 250 California.

This is a '63 250 GTO.....

Thanks Mark.

Yep some of those cars had more swirls in them than China has rice. I was amazed at the poor shape the paint was on those wonderful cars. I think Sean & Ted would need a month of Sundays to polish them out.

You sure did. I'm guessing both have the same size engine.

I too was amazed at some of the paint on those cars, especially some of the winners. Oh well. hopefully people become educated and get those things cleaned up.

Chuck, I will have to upload pictures from NY, I think there was a 250 there. Was told market value was about 14 mill...wanna go halfs?

Thanks Allen, I knew I could count on you. A box of Tim Bits is yours when I strike it rich.

Sean we could go halfs on a 1/8 scale diecast one. Can I ask one question? Did you drool on it? I would have.
