Meh. Like the suicide door, but the longer wheel length really looks... odd. Convenience-wise though, I have ti say that I'm jealous - the ability to carry a bike in a MINI is nothing to sneer at.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm not a big fan of the Clubman. The MINI's design appeal for me is the spritely, spirited, quick, light-on-the-feet, turn-on-a-dime sportiness. The Clubman comes across as a unique and clever utility wagon (and I understand the connection to the heritage vehicle), but not much more.
Perhaps it will attract people from the small station wagon crowd. The car will likely be viewed as a novelty, but I'll be surprised if it drives any more than a small fringe fanatical following within MINI Nation.
back seat down, front passenger seat slid and tilted forward - front wheel off bike... it all fits pretty nicely. Be sure and have a drop cloth for that pesky chain and derailleur. Driver seat can be wherever you want it to be.

Well *I* could fit a bike in the cabrio's boot if I dissassembled it, first, too!

You could fit a bike in Fiona if we remove the top How did this thread go from pics of the clubman to insertion of a bicycle in a MINI (did I say that?
