For those MINI owners in Central Ohio, we welcome you to the forums here at North American Motoring. Our group is very casual and we're easy going people and hold occasional get togethers but nothing fancy. There are no dues, no structured leadership and such. At one point we had all of that and it was painful and not even remotely enjoyable to spend our monthly meetings talking about money and membership issues. So, we hope you enjoy casual, because with us you get a healthly serving of it. Having said that, we do have quite a fun group that ranges from the very young to very young at heart. I think we even have one or two folks that legally should not be driving for one reason or another, which is another story.

We do a range of things, but for the most part the only thing you can count on is the Out Motoring MINI Mornings every 3rd saturday of the month at the Tim Hortons near the Out Motoring HQ in New Albany just outside of Columbus near the intersection of 161 and 62. We meet for breakfast at 8:30 and usually hang out for an hour or so while people come and go and at around 10 some head across the street to the HQ's to hang out.

Other than that, there are a few British Car Nights at Quaker Steak + Lube up in Polaris which are usually held on a Monday night whenever our friend Tony Burgess schedules them.

Every once in a while someone will plan something at a park, do a drive or plan some sort of trip.

We hold occasional tech sessions or detailing demos at our facility as it makes sense. Keep an out here for more info or get on the Ohio Event club mailing list at www.OutMotoring.com and we will keep you up to date with events.

If anyone so desires to organize anything and wants me to send out a mailing list to the 300 or so Ohio Event Club newsletter list please let me know as I am happy to do so.

We do have a website at www.MidOhioMotoring.com which is more of a placeholder than anything. The real action is here, so kick back and enjoy and come out to the breakfast or other events if can make it.

I really like the Lazy A$$ Motoring Enthusiast's in our little club like get togethers. Very laid back & oh so friendly. I've made so many great new fiends thanks to my MINI ownership.

The other clubs can't compare. They're are like going to the dentist in comparison. Yuck!!!
