Jay

Hope you and Kev have a great time in Towson today. Do you have a dealer checklist to take along?

We'll see you early in the morning for the trip to Bucks County.

Here is a checklist; one of many already posted on different MCO threads (search...)

Oh, Oh, Oh.....

CRAIG is going to be SOOOO happy.

Just spoke with Joe at Otto's MINI, and although the one that has been doing the most organizing (Pocket_Rocket), he doesn't even have his MINI yet!!!

Joe, always the gentleman, is going to let Craig drive on of their MINIs from Otto's for the Rally!!!!

Go, I love those guys at Otto's!!!

PSSST. If you haven't bought a car yet, or no someone who wants one, GO SEE JOE!!!

I love it when a plan, and teamwork, comes together!!!

See you tomorrow!

Scott

Holly cow. Since I can't make it back east for this event I stopped following it a bit ago. 60+ cars is impressive. Hope you guys have fun tomorrow!

Hope to see some of you at the Philadelphia Drive on August 10th (this one I can make it back for!).

Enjoy, be safe, speed

Otto's MINI ROCKS!!!!

Not only are they giving us oodles of prizes, they're also loaning Craig a MINI. Now THAT'S customer service!!!!

Jay, KevM, have a great trip to MD. Keep it under 4500 guys. Thanks for the early morning math Jay. A half a mile of motoring MINIs. Maybe that should be the headline for the story the Inquirer is doing.

And lastly, Driving Hamster: we'll miss you and your abundance of 2-way radios that you so generously bring to meets. I'm tickled that you've used one of my photos for your signature. That's X2Board's hand out of the sunroof on our June ride through Nyack. Don't tell his wife, though. He told her that he was only going to New Milford Ct. for the afternoon.

Harmini,

I don't know if I posted a response or not yet, but please count me in. I'll try to make it to Yardley for the start, but if I don't I'm sure I can find you, I live in Lambertville and know the area quite well. I don't think I will be around for dinner, but Triumph is an excellent place to have it, I'm friends with one of the owners there and my band plays there on occasion. If I had known sooner perhaps we could have entertained folks who wanted to stick around to later in the evening! Now I just need to find a copilot.
See you all tomorrow,
Alex

Alex, I've already got you on the list

Thanks for the good words about the Triumph. It was hard to find a place that had parking for 60+ MINIs, had good food and brew AND were willing to be flexible about our timing and head count.

Kim,

You are just too funny!!

I just spent the last 1.5 hours hand washing ZOE. Didn't know these little cars could take so long to make look beautiful!!!

To those last minute lookers, from all of us (Kim, Craig, Jack and myself), we have truly enjoyed the camraderie, and the fun of meeting new friends in coordinating this Rally. The overwhelming response from our fellow Enthusiasts is just inspiring!!

We all know everyone is going to have one heck of alot of fun tomorrow!!!

Drive safely tomorrow morning, and remember, be there by 10:30AM sharp, at the latest, to get the lay of the land. With 60-70 vehicles, the check-in time is going to be longer than a USAirways counter during lunch break (no dis-repect to any USAir employees joining tomorrow!). If you get lost, my cellphone number is 215-275-1685.

I look forward to meeting many new friends!!!

Cheers.

Scott

Well Folks,

Tomorrow is out for me, I just found out I have to fly out to SC, early on Monday morning and I'll be gone all week. So I'm taking a pass on this excellent motoring adventure to spend some quality time with the wife and kids. Have fun for me and I hope the weather turns out great.

URGENT,

Minor error in directions provided by White Rose Cafe!!!

To all of our fellow motorists that will be driving from the North, the directions for the retaurant provided by the White Rose Cafe are wrong!

They are correct if you are heading on I-95 Northbound, but NOT I-95 Southbound!!

Can't believe I missed this one!!

It's very easy.

I-95 South to the Newtown-Yardley exit (as instructed), however, at the top of the ramp, turn RIGHT, then immediately turn left at the first light onto Stony Hill Road, then another left into the office complex!!

I-95 North to Newtwn-Yardley exit, top of the ramp, turn LEFT, then over I-95, and left onto Stony Hill Road, then another left into the office complex!!

Sorry for the late notice! Just realized the error!

Cheers.

Scott

Hi,

Just checking... pups are still welcome? The girls (my yorkies) are packed and ready to travel so I would hate to disappoint them.

My MINI's on order (coming here in October!), so I won't be able to bring it. But, if no one minds, I'll be coming with my b/f in his GTI and bringing my JRT (well, actually she's a "mini" JRT), as per Joe's request. We'll have to leave the Pointer at home, though, since it might get too out of hand with both dogs there.

Congratulations, Jay! The cars look fantastic.

Yesterday I went to Philly and dropped into MINI of the Main Line. They received 16 cars on Thursday and were prepping them for delivery. I was kicking myself for not having placed my order in January!

I'll see you around 7:15; we'll be ready to motor!

Kim,

Well, could you sleep last night???

I was so excited, I kept waking up (both voluntarily, and by 2 phone calls!).

Craig was at the office last night at 9:45PM, printing the final directions!! Talk about last minute!

Went to Triumph for lunch yesterday to scout the place out. How COOL!!!

Well, we've done all of OUR work, now it's time to let our Minis/MINIs do their work, what they were born to do!!!

Woo Hoo!!

Scott
