I just bought a Mini. I'm from Western MA, and I've been shopping for a Cooper for a few months. I finally found the perfect one: a 2009 base. This is technically my daily driver car, so I opted for a base over an S for the better gas mileage. I bought used because I like cars fully loaded, but I don't like paying the high retail price. I let someone else spend all that $$, and I pick it up a couple years later for dirt cheap.
It came with the premium package and cold weather package, and sunroofs. I'm not a Mini expert yet, so I don't know what else it has really. I just wanted a car with lots of comfort options that was fuel efficient. I pick it up tomorrow at the dealership. :-D

I only posted 2 pics because I'm sure you've all seen these cars inside and out 10,000 times...and a stock one isn't too exciting.
My plans are: wheels, lowered, driving lights, rear fog light, tint. Nothing power-enhancing unless it adds to the fuel economy.
...I have a different car for that.

I currently own a Saturn Ion Red Line as a fun car. It's supercharged with some mods like pully, belt, injectors, 2nd heat exchanger, CAI. It moves pretty nicely....for a Saturn.

Thanks!
The Mini is definitely a fun drive. I just drove it back from the dealership in Warwick RI.
lol, I'm not a fan of Saturns either...just mine and Skys. If gas didn't shoot up, I was considering getting a Sky Red Line and using my Ion as a daily...but I decided against that since the Ion only gets 25mpg. So opted for the Mini. I think I made a good choice.
Hey danigurrl, We are going to have a short meet at Sonics on Route 1 tomorrow, May 13 at 8 PM. Please stop by to grab some drinks and have a good time with some local MINI owners.
Would love to meet you
