I'm sure I will! It was an older prefacelift 2001 325xi sedan. It was nice being awd and all but I needed something newer and less mileage and better on gas for commuting. It had 113k (i know its not that much for its year but still, lol)

I do ride 395/290 between 5:45am to 6:05am on my way to the pike.

Let me know if any gatherings are in the works.

Apparently its going to be awhile before its gone (looks outside)

Although all of that water last night that turned to ice made for some fun "J" and Hand brake turns

Also Jahnnie, I do not think that steel wheels from a civic will fit on ANY Mini Cooper S of any year, earlier this year I did a lot of research looking for Steelies for a snow tire set up and was told by many sources that steel wheels will not fit over the brakes of the S, Call up Mini and ask to be sure but also when I called they tried to sell me a $1700 winter set up . I was like "HA good luck with that one"

Id say give Tirerack.com a call. I believe they had some earlier this year w/ Blizzacks for pretty cheap but not sure if they fit the S or fitted on other tires. Just run with some slime though and save the hassle of having a huge tire in your boot. Its what I plan come summer, winter I will still run on the RFTs just incase so I dont freeze to death in VT or NH on a trip.\

Hopefully the forecasted rain tomorrow gets rid of more snow.

Mmm some rain to clear up the roads again would be nice too.

I had to ditch the RF's around November, My old tires were shot at 28k. Would have kept driving on them if it was summer though, They were practically slicks!

Also I've got this tucked away in the empty space on the right side of the trunk if you pop off the cover, It's sort of a tight fit but it gets in there and its out of the way but there when you need it. you should guys should grab this one.

yeah I will be grabbing something along those lines. Its by far the way to go imo. That along with MINI roadside assistance/AAA membership there is nothing better than the non-runflat feeling with still a secure feeling.

to the guy on Rt1 this morning in the Dark Silver Cooper S covered in snow!
Thanks for the compliments!

also cgauchucbon, Did you always have your Sig set up that way?
Who did you have install your parts btw?

Also, I was thinking maybe when the weather gets better we should do either a meet and detail to get ready for the spring or if anyone's good with tools or has the requisite hardware (lifts or what not) we should have a wrenching day, Hows that sound to anyone?

Haha nope, just kinda re-did the bottom part with some inspiration from yours.

Did the parts myself since I have a garage and back home (Western MA) I have a full garage w/ all the tools you could ever need. Only took a day to do everything installed on it right now.

Meet up, yes. About to order my PC and Prima things for the year. Cannot wait until warm weather.

Hahah niceeee, I thought it looked familiar

you lucky sob I barely have enough space in my garage to fit my Mini. I vote for wrench day at your house!

I too am getting ready to order my detailing equipment, that's so funny that you said a PC and Prima products.
I'm going to buy this kit from Detailers Domain as soon as the weather breaks or they send out a nice coupon code again

http://www.detailersdomain.com/theub...macarcare.aspx

I should be paying attention in class but I've been looking up reviews on the Prima products, giving us laptops was the worst decision they could ever make

Haha yeaahhhhhh, I was bored and liked it this way more.

Yeah Prima seems to be the way to go with most people on Autopia and in Detailing 101. The results Ive seen have been really good and they are pretty nicely priced. I am just getting the PC and pad kit, and some Amigo, Swirl, and Epic since my car is still in pretty good condition and I have some of Adams stronger stuff. Waiting for my Chase credit card to get here so I can put the cost of it towards my vacation haha....or until the weather breaks (whichever comes first)
