Ugh, open dump truck on the highway destroyed my windshield yesterday. Didn't notice any crazy paint damage fortunately but not looking forward to the next detail thats for sure. Just found on smallish nick on the hood. Hooray for that clear bonnet.

Oh and nice shot Peter, you should come up to Lowell wed nights, there has been a good group of us now.

Yeah, have about 4-5 decent sized cracks now in my windshield that are getting repaired Tuesday hopefully. Found some decent scratches on te hood so got some small pads that will hopefully buff them out. Black rocks too so GF and I thought bullets for a second. Soo angry, driving me insane. If it is fixed by Wed, Ill be in Lowell for some delightful ice cream.

 

That sucks man, saw your other post, at least they can get fixed although you'll find that the mini windshield gets sandblasted anyways after a while.

I'll try and get out to Lowell Wednesday night although I was planning on trying to get my exhaust and RSB on finally that night. maybe I can push it to Thursday night.

Springs stiffen the ride a bit for sure. I only did springs since my struts are brand new still so you might want to get some Koni yellows depending on yours. Im pleased with them and once my struts lets go I will probably switch to coils but for the price of NM springs and the much, much better looks make it totally worth it. Only thing is def get rid of the runflats if you plan on lowering with springs or you will break some teeth on the roads around here.

There's been an informal meet-up @ HF for the past 6-8 weeks. Started as a get-together for the Lowell-area folks primarily, but we've had MINI guys and gals come from all over: Gloucester, Lynn, Brookline, Norwood, etc. (just those coming to mind)

 

Used to live in dracut so im real familiar, awesome to know of something going on in the area for mini's. Deff checking it out tonight

 

Cool. Maybe I should bump those threads (here and on MassMotoring) just to make sure you'll have some company!
