Boston heads... check in
I wish I could have had you make sure they didn't drill holes in the bumper for the front plate! I wanted a NHLPB but my MA, Gabriella, said they already drilled them at the port.
Do you have the VIN? I can go look and make sure...then again, it may be @ Charlestown...when are you supposed to pick the car up?
LOL - I hear ya Henry.
Jeremy - car is prepped, detailed, and back in front of my office - man does it look good - white wheels/roof, the blue interior - amazing choices
We squeezed you through the inspection with the front plate on the dash...so no need to worry about that
just keep it handy until the no-holes bracket comes in...

She's been pretty good so far... Although for a while I didn't even know she was my MA.
Fantastic! So you literally are keeping an eye on it, nice! I do think it's a good color choice myself
I went back and forth with doing the blue color line too, I ordered it without it, but then I decided I wanted it but it was too late to change...
I ordered the bracket Thursday and they ship priority mail so hopefully I will have it by Wednesday. I appreciate you taking care of that for me.

Welcome Bostonians! I'm also from Boston myself. I'm always in Newton, Brookline, Waltham, Boston (Allston, Brighton, Downtown and Chinatown area mostly) and Malden a lot. R53 Pepper White, blacked out chrome. I'm pretty easy to spot as I've been spotted every where. Don't be afraid to wave.
Interesting thread, don't think I'm on it. I'll be the red-red clubman around metro-west. I spot a white clubman sometimes in the AM, I know of a nightfire red and a hot chocolate clubman as well; this weekend I saw a LOT of minis at the north shore...
WAVE PEOPLE WAVE!!!
WAVE PEOPLE WAVE!!!
No, that wasn't me... I wasn't on Rt 1 yesterday, but I'll keep my eye out for ya!
Would anyone be interested in a smallish rally for a weekend get away (one or two nights) in southern Maine? only about 65 miles from Boston via 95 north.
My family owns a smallish hotel/motel in York Beach, we can accommodate for about 30 rooms worth of people with one car per room or if you know each other you could double up and be two cars per room, we have parking for about 50 cars.
I've been wanting to do a rally of my own since I participated in MTTS 2008, I would put together a nice route from Boston up along the water through Gloucester and along the coast up through NH and into Maine. I know some nice scenic coastal roads that I believe would be a nice drive. the trip would most likely be actually more than 100 miles worth of driving, but only because we're snaking through the back roads to Maine.
Once in Maine we could all go to a dinner at some of the well known seafood restaurants or you could just chill out and relax in the room, by the pool, go down to the beach, to the shops ect...
the only cost to you would be the rental rate of the room for the night and the cost of food and gas.
here is the link to our site if you would like to check out the location, its very spacious and close to the attractions of downtown York Beach.

Most likely disregard the rates on the site for the time being
If there is any interest in something like this let me know, send me a PM and or post something up here.
and if enough interest is gathered we will start planning for a date.
Remember though space would be limited.

Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I'd probably be interested in something like that.
Have you tried posting on the MassMotoringClub http://www.massmotoringclub.com website? There's a good number of people on there and I'm sure they would also be up for something like this.

No I havent yet, but that could be a good Idea, I figured I'd post it here first though all being from the Boston area, I was thinking we could all start from where we started last time at MTTS 2008, Bostons Pier 4
Remember it needs to be a sort of low key event.
