Creep...

Also nice car Drink! love the wheels and PIAA lights, I have ideas swirling in my head about something related to a big light kit for mine

So, The last couple days have sucked for me.
I missed out on the MINI meet and the Kaizen Tuning open house which I am pretty P.O'ed about.

My break in between classes went pretty shoddily, I barely got anything done that I had planned and most of my time was consumed by the GF and I was in Boston (where I planned on not being) most of the week...

I planned on a full paint correction and getting my turbo back exhuast, IC, new Bumpers, both grills and sway bar put on but almost none of that happened

So now back in school and starting my final semester of college and I can already tell it's going to be a tough one.

As for my MINI, it seems to think its a Christmas tree...
Airbag sensor along with the seat buckled (stays on when seats are buckled) came on last week and the check engine came on yesterday.
I'm only one light away from having a full dash (TPS, I have no rear fogs and one is blank)

I did manage to get the top half of my M7 Grills on yesterday but then I got the check engine (seriously!?!) But I'm almost positive it's unrelated.

Looks great tho and I want to get the bottom on asap and I was planning on making a matching one for the rear of the car

So that's how I've been

Hopefully this week the weather holds out for a evening meet again that I can actually attend.

Thanks and I'm taking her in tomorrow for the lights, I swear its been something every week now, and am not just being funny, It seriously has been something new every week

The bumpers are OEM S body kit bumpers that were take off, I bought them off the marketplace for a good deal.

I am putting the bottom M7 grill on but that conflicts with the front mount plate plinth so I am moving the plate over to the tow hook. But in doing so I am left with the holes left by needing to drill into the front. So i decided to replace the whole thing and be done with it.

also I got bumped in the back and have a little damage but since the guy was selling both I figured why not, I worked the guy down to way way less than half of one unpainted new.

Im really tempted on getting a cat-back Magnaflow shipped to my girls parents so I can put it on next time Im in western MA...soooo tempted. Little worried about drone though and what to do with/without resonator....Argh, decisions.

drink, how do you like your Borla? How is it on the highway/high RPM?

Thanks, Although I am starting to really want a JCW body kit... lol
Dooo it!! get a exhaust, although I'd get a dedicated system for the mini that you can research the amount of drone on.

And remember that Drinks Borla is for an R53 so it's completely different.

I like the Borla and don't find it loud or offensive. I like the upshift POP and the down shift GURGLE. Highway is fine. I have the sport model but I think the aggressive model is louder. I'm wanting a header but I think it will then be to loud.

Good point. I am really leaning toward either Magnaflow or the Invidia now I think. Both sound so nice but the Invidia seems to fit the MINI better and is much easier to install since there is no cutting. We will see, I want to wait it out a bit but will probably end up buying in like a week or so with my spending habits.

Oh and in other news...

Def, broken in now :P

Would love to but I'm working today. Being a retailer makes it hard for me to day things. How about another Friday night meet. Would entertain any ideas but Sonic sounded like a good place.

well I got nothing to do today once my mini gets it's summer shoes put on, and there's more blue than white and gray in the sky, so...
I'm up for taking over route 1 or 3a with a bunch of minis

I attempted a solo ride to Kimball's Ice Cream on Friday night. I wanted to be at the Lancaster location for their Friday night car show but somehow ended up at their Littleton location.
Anyone up for a run up there next Friday. Lancaster that is. I wouldn't be able to get there till 8pm.

nice nice
personal preference tho I've never been a fan of the Hella's in the Subaru community, I just don't like the sound, I like a deep horn.

yeah, if you heard distant swearing and yelling at around 1-2pm, that was me expressing my joy about this new grill.

Dropped in my Forged FMIC this week and might get the Magnaflow in this coming weekend. Order my Kiwi for iPhone gauges but accidentally sent it to my parents house instead of mine so pretty excited to get some data logging going.

Tempted to do Greenwich but thats one hell of a drive from Boston and think Id rather just work on the car for the weekend instead.

One day peter I will bump into you when dropping off the girl at school. You seem to always be there before us no matter what time we get there
