Last week my wife and I test drove a Cooper S and we fell in love with the car. What an amazing car at such a reasonable price. We are currently on the waiting list at Schomp's in Denver. However, we really liked two discontinued colors that aren't available in 2006 - liquid yellow and electric blue. So we are looking for a 2005 in those colors. If you have a 2005 that you are considering selling, please let us know. Requirements:

Sunroof
Body colored dash
6 speed
Heated seats
DSC
Cockpit chrono
Xenons
Limited slip diff

My timing stinks. If we would have gone in to the dealer a few months earlier, we could have built our dream car. Hopefully someone out there already has. If not, we will order a chili red 2006 S just the way we want it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the lead. I have been watching eBay. The search is part of the fun.

Thanks. I just did. Had never been there before but it is now on my growing list of places to check.

There's a gorgeous EB/B hardtop from Florida for sale in this forum.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=57145

Unfortunately it has doesn't have all the options you're looking for....but sometimes you need to make compromises when buying a used car. If you look around long enough you'll find what you're looking for.

Also, I notice you're looking for LSD and DSC. The LSD is obviously a great performance option, but not really necessary if you don't motor too hard. If you do drive pretty hard, you don't really need the DSC. Most drivers turn the DSC (or the ASC) off during spirited driving because the systems are pretty aggressive and the standard ASC is very competent in bad whether. Hope this helps.

Ok, I have a confession to make. The Mini will be for my lovely wife, but I have been granted track privileges to occasionally take it when I instruct at BMW driving schools. Your comments are spot on. I turn off the ASC while at the track.

The LSD is for me. The DSC is for her.
