How to disable the auto rev matching on a manual JCW?

I was told by the dealer that the only way to turn off the auto rev matching is to turn off the stability control. Is that true? That's a bummer.

This thread is talking about BMW M2. Not sure if it works for Mini. Has anyone tried?

Permanently turn off Rev Match via coding

It sounds worth a shot. Maybe there are two ways...one with the software like in your link, and 2 holding the trac button to turn it off like the other thread says.

Just seems like something that could be coded if they can on a bimmer

Nah, its not like you think it would be. I drive with it in the snow all the time.

The wheels just spin a little faster. I know Im watering it down a lot but just give it a try, with one flip of a switch its back on

Well, I tried doing this on my 2019 MCS today. It didn't go well. At all, lol! There are 2 potential coding settings mentioned in the bimmerpost thread above:
Front Electronic module -> start engine without clutch -> not active
Expert -> fem_01 -> group 3020 -> tcp_startlock_clutch nicht_active
On my MCS, both options were already set to "not active". Setting them to "active" broke the car . I could turn it on to accessory mode, but the engine wouldn't turn over at all.

Reverting them both to "not active" set it right, though. Which is a bummer. I was really hoping for a better option than the DSC disable bit, since it's not even close to reliable :(

Thank you for the information!! I have been running DSC off in the past few days and then got hit by ice-rain today. Not fan at all with DSC off and summer performance tires on...
