2019 JCW Clubman, Issues upon Issues
Long story short, ordered my 2019 JCW Clubman in April, took delivery June 30th. Since then its been in the shop each month for multiple days for big issues. 30 days to replace a bad cat (they let me drive it while waiting but it wasn't right), several days for a bad camshaft sensor (twice), and it went in yesterday awaiting a new fuel pump. My 2016 Countryman never had one issue. Lemon law in FL can't be used because it isn't the same unresolved issue....lucky me, its always something new going bad. Anyone had any experience with a manufacturer buyback or something along those lines? I'm beyond frustrated with it right now. Only 8K on it so far, scared about what's down the road from here!

I was in that boat once. I bought a 2003 CPO Cooper S that was in the shop every 2-4 weeks for 6 months. Really wanted to pull my hair out and was regretting buying it, despite how fun it was to drive. After about 6 months, they got all the issues sorted and I never had anything other than standard maintenance until I sold it.
Hopefully you'll get through these initial issues and be trouble free.

Went to pick up car today after new fuel pump install, left dealership, got on interstate and same thing....bucking, power loss, misfiring. Got it back to dealer, they pulled the Dinan Elite unit that they installed and everything is back to normal. I had suspected a bad tune box from the beginning but they disagreed, looks like all these issues may be attributed to that and now they admit it. I have the option to get a new one from Dinan or a refund, think I’m taking the refund.

Yeah I'd pass on that thing too. I'm surprised the dealership didn't figure it out right away, it's probably really easy to get rid of it just to see. My tune has been fine for 1.5 yrs. Is the Dinan a piggyback or a true ECU tune like mine?

The Dinan Elite is a piggyback. Only reason I went Dinan over NM was the fact that it is warranted. That being said, now that the dealership has determined it is a faulty tune, Dinan is being a huge pain....all I want is either a replacement tune or my $800 back. They are giving the dealership the runaround and won’t return my calls or emails, almost 2 weeks now. Seems like they would just replace it and move on, their service is horrible.

I agree, the dealership should refund you your $800 and they can get their (probably) $400 back from Dinan later.
