JCW mods to my IO JCW

Thought it might be of some interest to post a few images of recent mods I have had done to my 19 Intl. Orange JCW. JCW Pro Aerokit and sport brake front rotors. Next up is a suspension of some kind... I am really enjoying this car.

I was thinking about doing them also, however I got sidetracked looking for a rear diffuser

Have you noticed any improvement in your braking? I just purchased a JCW I/O and the brakes seem like more than adequate to the point of being a little touchy.
And by the way, after selling my '17 Cayman S, I have no regrets go with the I/O MINI. The Cayman was faster of course, but the MINI is really fun to drive and is a much easier car to live with on a daily basis, including long trips. Enjoy your JCW.

If you do some further mods you can breakfast caymans on a regular basis, however the JCW as standard is a complete daily 4 seat buddy unmatched, perhaps the GT86 comes close to it, but you can't store 2 Labs in the back.

Sorry for the delay. No improvement in braking as far as I can tell. I wouldn’t do it again. Still have my GTS but I actually prefer the Mini... so much more useable and raw. Enjoy yours as well.

I always thought it was weird how MINI puts the non-drilled and slotted rotors on the Factory Cars, but if you order the kit you get drilled and slotted. Is there some regulation about this?

It looks really good, keep us posted with your future modifications. I am running a stock JCW except for the NM module, I did add the PRO exhaust as an afterthought. I don't remember seeing it as an option when I ordered mine in November of 2015. I tricked it out with some aftermarket bling and I am content to leave it alone now as I plan to get the GP when it finally becomes available.

There's a great explanation detailing the pluses and minuses of drilled rotors on Youtube, "Engineering Explained". From watching it, it seems to me that the real benefits of drilled rotors only happens at really high temps ( i.e. driving on a road racing track).
