Thumbs up F56 JCW Picture Thread

I think we should have a picture thread for the F56 John Cooper Works. I don't have one yet, but for the rest of you, go crazy and show us your cars!

How do you like the JCW Dinamica seats? Worth the $1,900?

The seat are great, form fitting, but not too much like say an Evo's seats. Very comfortable. Done only one 4 hour trip in my car but didn't feel fatigued or uncomfortable at all. The wow factor is the big thing I get from those seats. Everyone who checks out my car are drawn to those seats first, than they want to know how fast it is, lol. The back seats look great to in this finish and apparently are very comfortable according to my girlfriends 14 year old daughter.

Don't mean to rain on you parade....but honestly you should get that back cover adjusted. All those waves in a new seat like that (especially that they cost that much) - You would never accept that fit in a couch you bought for home. I'm getting the same seats so I will be all over MINI for a good fit!

I have so much envy right now! Mine won't be here until August/September.
They look good though! Is the hud really worth it?

I have a HUD on my F56. I don't use out much but at night using the nav it is beyond good. I never use the nav screen now.

HUD ....my thoughts ..... daylight its ok but my sunglasses are polarized and they make the HUD difficult to see, still usable but not great. As Greg said, night time is a different situation, very clear and for multimedia/radio and on board NAV , I really like it a lot. Have adjusted brightness, angle and what is displayed via Connected controls and it has value for me. long night drives, I shut down the connect screen and lower all lights. Prefer a darkened cab at night (less distractions) and the HUD text changes from daylight - bright white to a orange color- also less distracting. For me it is a benefit - but you need to see if the charge is worth it for you.

when you had those stripes done, did you just use the JCW concept picture? I plan to have those same stripes done on mine when the car gets here.

Yes, there are alot of photo angles of the concept car out there on the web. My JCW has the sunroof, so in order to keep the theme with the stripes on the roof, they installed the perforated vinyl so it looks the part, yet you can still see out of it from inside the cabin. Love the looks, not as wild as a few of my past minis, but still looks great to me!
