Guys,

Am I going crazy or some of the front JCW aero bumpers didn't come with the front side marker lights on the trim? Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Manny

The Aero Kit for the 1st Gen MINI was not a JCW accessory. The bumper has cut-outs for the front turn indicators.

Yeah, I researched that. Thanks!

I bought an aero bumper, but it doesn't have the cutouts....what does that mean?

Did early Mini's not come with the turn indicators (aero or not aero)?

I already painted the main part that is the same color as the car... but still haven't painted the "trim".

I guess you're talking about the marker light on the wheel arch trim. You confused everybody by calling them turn signals, which they are not (they don't blink).

Those lights are on the U.S. version of MINI to meet DOT safety requirements, but other countries do not have them. Did you purchase the bumper from overseas?

Well, when I was looking at the description that's the only name I could come up with either turn indicators or side indicators .

I bought the bumper from a guy in Missouri and shipped it down here to FL.... it has german stickers on it and it was already primed. I got a good deal on it.

My question is now, should I even bother trying to fit the marker lights?

Some people dislike the arch lights so much that they replaced their wheel trim with the Euro versions. It's up to you whether you prefer it with or without the lights. Was it a new bumper? You were lucky to find it, because the part was discontinued years ago.

The bumper was brand spanking new. I bought it for $100 and had it shipped to FL for $70 through greyhound. I guess I got lucky.

I'll debate on the lights. It looks flush without them, but I kinda like how they look anyways. Once I paint the trim and mount it this weekend, I'll figure what I like best.

As stated earlier, that's the Euro version which has no side markers.
