Anyone have an opinion on the throatiest (that even a word-haha) sounding...most popping, gurgling exhaust to replace on my 2006 MCS? Would I need to replace other parts as well to get the most sound or would just replacing the exhaust do the trick? Don't get me wrong, the stock exhaust pops and gurgles, but I just traded my GP2 for my lil '06 (I just couldn't justify making that car payment on a car I put 2k miles in per year) and besides the raw power of the GP2, it was the exhaust sound I really loved about the car. Hey, I am a chick--I do not track my Mini---I baby them...usually. Wink, wink.

 

IMHO I would go for the Borla, it sounds sooooo good. Or you could go with a Akoropovic exhaust. Both are good value. If money is not an issue I would go for the Garbino check it out

No you wouldn't have to change anything. As far as I am aware you put the system on and away you go. Obviously the car in the clip has a after market BOV and CAI. I think they run at $2500 USD then you need to get it installed.

 

Excuse my ignorance...what are a BOV and CAI?

Your best bet is the Borla aggressive... That garbino exhaust might not sound the same on a supercharged motor vs turbo motor... just saying..

 

Check out the Stratmosphere non Res. it will give you good deep sound and torque gains.
