JCW factory height & spring rates for Clubman

Just wondering if there's a noticible difference between a factory JCW Clubman vs and S with sport suspension package?

None, as the Factory JCW comes with the exact same suspension as every other car. If you order the dealer installed "JCW Sport Suspension" then its 10mm lower and should be a lot stiffer/sportier. The standard suspension is entirely too soft. Had I known that Mini appealed to the masses as much as they did compared to the Gen1 cars I would have ordered the JCW suspension immediately, or at least the sport suspension.

After x-mass I will be installing the full JCW sport suspension and can't wait to get back to the go-cart sporty feeling my Gen1 car had.

Thanks for the info, I thought I may have found a great deal on a set of factory JCW springs. Good thing waited and inquired here before impulse buy got the best of me.

They could be factory JCW springs if its the "JCW Sports suspension". Are they red?

Just a clarification - an "S" or any other MINI with the sports suspension package is different from a JCW with a stock suspension. The optional sports suspension (I assume that is what hamptup was referring to) comes with stiffer springs, shocks and larger front and rear sway bars than the stock setup has. This does not lower the car, but it is a great handling improvement. The optional JCW sports suspension takes all of that one step further as k_h_d said.

The Hampton has the sport suspension package and it seems stiff and handles well but I haven't driven in a JCW Clubbie with either dealer or factory suspension to compare.

Then those ARE the "JCW Springs" that lower the car 1/2" and are stiffer than the factory standard or Sport springs. The factory standard or Sport springs are black.
