Build plan

In search for a AP from Alta and they do not have it listed on their site and the Cobb site still redirects to Alta, am I confused or looking in the wrong places? Is there a new and better tuning method besides sending in the computer for a Renntech tune. So far I'm looking at the available FMIC as well as piping to go with that new unit and the Tyrolsport FMIC see,s very well designed and its the only one to use the factory mounting points, yet it's the most costly.
Also really, like the Water/Meth injection systems out there for many reasons to cleaning the intake valves to performance and insurance to detonation.

Hesitant to lowering yet have not ridden in a lowered Mini, will it rub on every speed bump or am I being overly concerned?

Feel free to give me your .02

COBB is no longer making the AP for the MINI, will have to find a used one

Or turn to RMW for their tuning device and tunes. I'm sure you've at least heard of "Jan" from these boards.

Thinking of a Forge FMIC / DP maybe cat less / and acquiring a AP Tuner then adding Aquamist HSF-4 to have a great platform to build upon.

Comments appreciated.

I've heard that Jan does an awsome tune. Our mini-club here in Utah have flown him up here when we've had enough to justify the cost of the airline ticket. He uses a local dyno and charges about $500 for an R53 and about $600-650 for R56 (prices may be outdated by now). He is based in Irvine, California, I think. If you you go to miniutah.com and ask I'm sure you can get his contact info.
