Anyone else have the same issue?
Yea, as I noted in my post, I had the same thing with it only attaching to one of the hangers. Scooter used an expanding rivet in there to attach it. I bought a body nut (clip) and bolt from Lowes (mentioned in my post earlier) to attach it to the other hanger. You will need to have access to the hanger prior to clipping it all together so you can slide the nut clip onto the hanger. Then line everything up and bolt into it.

This is because when you attached the brackets to the exhaust hanger supports you might have tightened them down without aligning them. The hangers have adjustable bolt holes so they can slide forward or back for alignment. The best thing to do is to loosely tighten them up and test fit the tunnels to see if the holes line up. One you get them close, tighten up the brackets and secure the tunnels to them. There is still some play with the diffuser, as with mine I had to shift the diffuser a little toward the back of the car to get the bolts aligned. I just gently pushed the diffuser where I needed it to be and everything fit.

After installing it, while I know there are a lot of bolts and screws used to mount it, I highly recommend using all the available mounting points to secure it. Even so much as to purchasing the underbody panels to attach the front end of the diffuser properly to. Afterall this was made for a GP and we are all retro-fitting it to our cars.

Here's a crappy cell phone pic. I'd upload some better ones but there's already lots of good photos showing the diffusers installed.

Great piece, really makes the car look good and hopefully with aerodynamic performance gains too.

Agreed! Without the under panels I'm not so sure the diffuser will be much more than a decorative accessory. In fact it may hinder aerodynamics since it accentuates the parachute effect that the stock "diffuser" allows. That's a fairly large scoop being created for all that high pressure air moving under the car to get trapped behind.

InVisib0L- I just ordered the set of parts one number at a time from TheBMWPartStore, so we'll see how things go. I mean this is at least $100 less than other places, so I'm optimistic. It will be going on my 2012 Coupe JCW I bought last weekend, as seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

I think the diffuser will really complement the looks and performance of this vehicle, and helps break up the vertical thickness of the rear bumper. I'll probably throw $100 at my brother to take care of the install for me on his friend's lift, and still I'll be at 1/3 of the price I've read other people's dealers charging for parts + installation labor.

Anyways, great thread here guys, hence why I joined just to make this post, giving thanks and saying I'm taking the plunge on this upgrade as well.

Awesome! Nice whip too!

Yeah, it should be at my front door on Monday. I'll take pictures. But at $244 shipped, it's pretty nice. Just be aware it's going to take about a month though. They order on an as-needed basis.

I got an email back from TheBMWPartStore saying they should be able to ship all the items in 3-5 days, so hopefully that means they already had some arriving at their USA warehouse, and will be shipping from THERE to me starting in 3-5 days? Or if it's starting on its way from Germany in 3-5 days, hopefully not, but worth the wait for the savings!

Yeah, hopefully they ordered a few extra sets to stock up.
