This bracket fits the countryman. At least the drivers side. Waiting on my seat to arrive.

My 2014 factory JCW Recaros are like the passenger seat, but with Alcantara on the seating surface and middle of seatback, with JCW logos embossed on top section, below the headrest. They are black not gray. And they do have lumbar support and are heated.

So I have heated seats now and the Recaro's I ordered are heated also. Does anyone know which of the plugs in the yellow harness are for the heated seats?

Is there a version of the seat without heated seats? Or do you just simply not connect it if your car doesn't have the heated seat controls?

Have not hooked it up yet. Trying to figure out the green wire on the wiring harness for the heated seats. I had them in my stock seats. Yes, you can purchase without the heating element.

I am in the process of modifying the stock seat bracket. I did not like how high the seat sat with the brackets from Wedge.

Sweet! I like 'em. How much did they set you back? Mine were a $2700 option.

$1,599 each. So the altering of the stock bracket was a no go. Reached out to Planted Seat brackets and they will work. This is great news as the planted bracket sit's pretty low.

I'd love a set of those Alcantara's, although if heated would either have to leave it disconnected or get it programmed into my car if able. Those will have to wait until after my iPE & a couple other bits though.

Yea, you can hook them up and just not press the heated seats button near the toggle bank.

The alcantara look great with the stitched color JCW logo.

For 3K, I would go with the stitched model but to have the complete set you need the Alcantara steering wheel, hand brake and shift ****, so overall a 4K upgrade.

Seriously, these seats look more like torture chairs and I believe only very slim people can fit in if they have no adjustments. I have the JCW checkered fabric sport seats and they look and are very comfortable.

I have heard that you can damage the BCM by connecting the heated seats. I purchased the heated Recaro Sportsters but have not connected the heating elements yet due to this.

Don't remember hearing that issue with the Genuine MINI versions.

Here is a couple installs and tips on the Genuine European ones.
