hey, where did you order the seats from just wondering? obviously nto a dealer as they wont let you but the recaros here tin the us, so im guessing you had them imported. do they still have the airbags?

and yes they have airbags.

 

Yep, they have side impact airbags and heated seat units if you have the controls for them. The only issue is the passenger weight sensor is not in these and you have to remove it from your stock seat for the US passenger seat to not throw an airbag light.

Thats where I got mine. Cost me about 1900+ for one seat shipped.

 

Thank you orangecrush for your post this. I just received the the JCW Recaro driver's seat from my MINI dealer and installed it. The seat position switch resolves the airbag/seat belt light issue. All is well and I love the new seat!!

Sidenote. I didn't like the black mounting frame for the seat, so I wrapped it!

 

Love the seat. Next time you wrap something go on more of a 45 degree angle to the length of the part, it will look better/more interesting.

You mean the seats airbag deployed? The seller brough it from UK by airplane. So he took off the airbag not deploy thru side zip. Passenger occupy and seat belt tension sensor included. Thanks for mention it. Still think whether put on or sell for seats like yours.
