Yokahama Avid Envigor

I have recently heard good things about the Yokahama Avid Envigor all season non fun flats.

Has anyone had these on the JCW? What's your opinion of these tires?

Bought a set a month ago for our 06 MCS replacing the doe runflats-195/55/R16. The ride and lower sound levels are a night and day improvement!! They do have a 5yr/60K warranty. Handling was not a crisp as the stiff side walled runflats but still very acceptable for an old man. Since these are LRR (low rolling resistance)tires, I have yet to do a mileage improvement check. The tread and sidewall appearance are OK. I shopped online and finally went to Quick Lane. They matched the best online price, were 40% less on the install and offered free lifetime rotation and balancing. And to top it off they offer a $100 rebate if purchased by 31 August. Saved nearly $200 over the online stores with the rebate, install and lifetime rotate/balance. Bottom line--couldn't pass this deal up. Good luck.

One more thing

How is the on-center feel of these tires. Do you get a vauge feeling at highway speeds, or a tendecy to tramline the rain grooves?

Thanks

I'll be getting a set before the winter. I have a few more miles I'd like to get out of my present tires.

Tracking is fine and the grooved pavement sofar poses no problems. As mentioned the ride is a vast improvement over the run flats. I now don't have to brace and cringe going over any type of bumps and I can hear the radio without blasting out my wife.

The installer inflated them to 35psi. Searched around and found a consensus of 33-35 psi. So I split the difference and have them at 34. I am open to suggestions from those who are more experienced.

mine are at 35 now too but that's what the runflats were at and the centers wore out way faster that the edges... might go down to 33
