Is it a turbo back or just a cat back system?

I am not sure if it is a cat back or turbo back from 1FastMini. What I do know is that I have an 09 JCW Clubman and the music coming from the exhaust is awesome. I will have to record it and post it up here.

On my 05 MCSC, I added the JCW exhaust to it and it has worked like a charm. It is a cat back system. It is a good balance between nice and quiet when I don't have my foot in it and loud when I do put my foot in it.

The JCW exhaust for a R53 / R52 is a cat back. I love mine.

I recently took a JCW Clubman for a test drive and got to talking to my MA about the exhaust (which sounds f#%$in awesome!).
Evidently the only JCW specific part of the exhaust are the mufflers (from the "Y" and back).
I believe it was somewhere around $500 just for the mufflers. IMO, not really worth the price considering what little you are getting...

clnconcpts, are you asking about the JCW exhaust that is part of the Stage 1 kit, or the JCW exhaust that comes on the '09 Factory JCW?

As mentioned already, yea to the former, which is a cat back exhaust.

Nea to the latter, which is a whole different, larger, turbo-back system. It's not that I did any measurements, but am going by what was posted twice in separate places by two unrelated members who make their livving in the "MINI performance enhancement" arena.
