The Right Header for a JCW Car

Well I don't have ant mods besides Mini Madness filter and lighter wheels deleted rear seat. I plan on running a cat with the header. So what are my options with a STOCK head for the best performance across the powerband. I hear stuff all day about RMW but I won't be running their head in conjunction with the header. After all too big of ports end up shattering the exhaust gas velocity like a garden hose with someones finger off of it. So I wonder if the RMW is too big for a stock JCW car? Also would I notice the difference without a proper tune to bring it all together. Thanks in advance

RMW is making a header designed for the stock/JCW heads + catbacks. It also works with the RMW head itself.
Information is in this thread : https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=139846

Yup, I second following the "Street" RMW Header thread. That version once it's all done should be reasonably cheap, and like most of the other RMW products out there, will blow the competition out of the water for $ per HP.

You're not going to make much power with the stock cat, and with a new cat you're looking at $500+ for less than 5 HP and almost no torque (4->2->1 doesn't work well on these motors).

Wait for Jan's header (Or at least until he posts some dyno graphs...), if it's anything like his old one you should see about 6-8 whp even on the stock head, and gobs of torque...

Is it wrong for him to advise other people towards products he enjoys?
