JCW Carbon Fiber Rear Door Handle Install?

Has anyone installed the JCW CF rear door handle them selfs? How hard is it? I hear the mirrors and hood scoop are not very difficult.

Yeah it was incredibly easy. Theres only 4 torx screws in plain sight. No hassle at all.

i would say the mirror and hoodscoop are harder than the boot handle... but they are not "hard." I find it easier to unscrew a screw than to pry snap connectors because i have a tendency to break those quite easily.

The only potential "gotcha" for installing the rear hatch handle is that some cars have more slack in the electrical wiring then others. On some cars, you can pull the wiring out enough so that the quick-disconnect plug is outside of the car's body, while other cars don't have as much slack, so you have to reach *inside* the body panel with either skinny fingers or needle-nose pliers to unplug the connection.

Other than that, the swap is trivially-easy.

So if I were to order this (and the bonnet scoop) from my dealer, does anyone know whether the parts would come with installation instructions?

I got my hood scoop from the dealer and the rear handle from outmotoring.com and they both had instructions. It was supppppper easy to install the rear handle.
