I put a unichip in my JCW and it gave me 9WHP. this was custom tuned for the JCW by Randy Webb. Its in a 2004 car. For some reason my car does not like it so I had to remove it, it worked fine on other cars. I am thinking of selling it if you would be interested!

Did you check to see if it was your plugs? Mine just went through that same thing.

Plugs?

How did you get rid of the error? Swap the plugs for a different heat range, or just put in new ones? I'm about to install a Unichip in my 06 MCS.
