My friend just bought a brand new VW Jetta and purchased a dongle that does some programming on his car. He programmed some fancy stuff like turning off seat belt ding, bringing down and up windows without a key, turning off lock horn, all that jazz.
I was surprised to see MINI Cooper R56 on the list of supported cars on that app. Of course its not as intensive as the VW features but when I plugged the dongle in my car it offered windows up with lock button. I switched it to "YES" and magically my windows come up with my key! Amazing. I thought I would have to do some NCS Expert to do something like that. Windows come up on my car with the comfort access button too! I'm just shocked. Didn't think our ECU's would allow something programmed in 2 seconds.
