JCW Steering Wheel: Leather or Alcantara?

I'm going to go for either the Leather or the Leather/Alcantara. Any suggestions from owners...?

Thanks much.

I'm assuming that the Alcantara will have a softer feel but I'm worried that it won't be as durable in the long term. I'm wondering if it's a tradeoff between comfort and durability.

I've heard of it pilling on BMW's etc, but I've had mine for six months now and it looks new still.

You really won't be using the Alcantara sections much, if at all. Go for it !

I have had the alcantara for almost a year with almost 15,000 miles and have had no problems with it. It still feels and looks new. I would say get what you like, you can't go wrong either way.

I've had the alcantara for a long time with no visable wear on it.

I have the alcantara in "Howard" and I love it! Also, judging by those that purchase the wheels from me the Alcantara is by far the more popular choice! Just my two cents!

PGT: LOVE your interior! Those seats look awesome, heck the exterior isn't half bad either with the GP Red mirror treatment. How is the MINI world treating you? Liking this more than the Subie crowd? Chat soon!
