The painted calipers look GREAT With the wheels I have ordered (PIAA SportMesh in hyper black) I'm thinking silver because when the car is moving it will stand out pretty well too and its different. The other color I like is the color on the Nissan 350Z and STi's, that orange/gold/yellow is AWESOME!

Thlaxx,

Thanks, yeah its funny, but go for it.

I like the yellow too, however keep in mind that if brake dust builds up on them the yellow really turns.

I like the red (obviously), depends on the color of your car. Gold may not look too bad in the right situations.

Good luck!

An additional idea while your at it

How about painting the hat on the rotor? Even though on some wheels you can't really see it, don't you wanna know that its painted too, just a thought

So you don't even remove the caliper to paint it? Weird.

Did you guys do one wheel at a time or did you jack up the front, do the front wheels, then put the front wheels back on, then do the back. Most of the caliper paint says you have to do everything at one time because the paint dries and hardens in like 2 hours.

I'm guessin you can put the wheels back on even if the paint hasn't completely dried. Just don't go for a drive about a day or two. Correct?

I'd do the whole front, then the whole rear. Use a floor jack and jack stands.

After 24 hours, the stuff is pretty hard, so you should be fine to drive around without fear you're going to permanently stick road grit to your calipers.
