Interior/Exterior R56 painted brake calipers
Hey Adam,
The tile in my garage is called DynoTile. It comes in sqaure tiles that you just snap in place. It's very easy to cut with a regular saw as it's made out of something like PVC and rubber. It's very nice. If you want more pics, let me know. I can email them to you. Here's the website....

Adam, while you're at it, check out Race Deck tiles.

They're a little more expensive than the competition but I don't think you'll find higher quality tiles.

I don't have pics but it's pretty easy if you have 4 jack stands. Just put the car up on the stands. First wipe off the loose dust and spray the cleaner that comes in the kit (I used G2 caliper paint I located on eBay). After a couple of rounds with the cleaner tape off any areas you like and mix up the paint (two part epoxy) and start brushing it on. It drys pretty quick so as you work your way around the car when you get back to the first one it's time for a second coat. I put three coats on mine and let it set up over night. In the morning I sprayed on a couple of coats of hi temp clear coat.
Put the wheels back on and you are ready to roll.

I just finished my calipers. the whole process took me a couple of hours. I took my time and tried not to get the paint on the dog. I got my kit at Schucks Auto (not to mention a screamin deal on a jack and two stands)

Yes, they are the perforated JCW discs. I had originally thought that what I had ordered would come with the red JCW brakes. I think there is some confusion as to what comes with what when you order brake upgrades.
No lug studs. Just lug bolts. The tire/rim fits over the center of the disc which holds it in place while you secure it with the bolts. This was as much as a surprise to me as you the first time I removed the tire.

Nope, didn't replace anything. We painted that part of the rotor that always rusts, black. They do look new, and now they won't be rusty!
i was going to ask if anyone had blue calipers............do you happen to have a picture showing your MINI from a dstance since you painted the calipers. wondering how it looks from a distance, i have a lightning blue MINI with those same rims and i was thinking about painting the calipers blue. don't think i would like the red on it.

I have a PW/B and I recently painted the calipers red. It looks AWESOME!!! I have gotten several compliments. Sorry, I don't have pictures and am out of town this week. Will see about posting some when I get back.
Cool Mike,
I was waiting for it to cool down before I paint them, but I guess it is cool enough.
Checker has this kit. for only 16 bucks...
