New palo uber wide arches?

I'm getting wider wheels and was searching around for wide arches. Which one of these is better? Anyone have any experience? Are the new palo arches actually different, because I'm looking for something a little less aggressive than the konigseder.

The palo uber arches $6,897 http://1346843.estore.networksolutio...ail.bok?no=116

or the Konigseder kit $3,900

this is insane... I was just looking at Uber web site for the new rear spoiler and saw that they call this body kit the UBER WIDE BODY... what on earth is going on .

this is an existing body kit from estrictly foreign for $3900 and to mark it for $6897 is daylight theft. I would normally look the other way but this is TOO MUCH

I've said it once and I'll say it again, as nothing I have seen or read so far has led me to believe otherwise...
Palo Uber's MINI parts along with his "art" is a joke.

Palo Uber's MINI parts along with his "art" is a joke.
It's not even a joke though....they state that the exhaust pictured is their dual exhaust kit. That's not remotely true....its the exhaust designed by the REAL designers of that bodykit which was released before Palo MINI even existed. That's an outright lie.mad:

I agree it's a horribly ugly kit...but to each their own. I was just wondering if there is a difference between the two.

Palo Uber rep, any insight into differences?

I kinda like those Bull Bars - I've been looking for a set for months. I also like the second wide-body kit - it's definietly more agressive than OEM but not ridiculously so.

As for marking up other people's stuff... well... I guess I'm of the opinion that "caveat emptor" - let the buyer beware. I can think of plenty of distributers that make nothing whatsoeverof their own, but instead buy other people's stuff then re-sell it for a profit. Bottom line - if you think you have a source for less, then I appreciate you posting it (cheaper for the same item is always better), but I think slamming a reseller is a bit harsh. After all, you don't HAVE to buy from them...

Back on topic.

I knew when I was thumbing through the Palo Uber website that I had seen this body kit before. Go figure they would steal another product, put thier sticker on it and charge people double the cost. What CR@P and BS!!!

from palouber website

The ABSOLUTE ULTIMATE wide body kit by Palo Uber Mini London Company.........Look to the future through Palo Uber's vision. Absolute perfection in the performance enhancing body kit, both in devastating visual impact and aero-dynamic capabilities. Will accomodate 2002-2006 bodies, with a 2007 kit soon. Simply put...if you truely want the finest in the world, you have found it. CLICK ON IMAGE for additional photo's and details.
What a complete and blatant LIE!!! Wide body kit by Palo Uber my @SS!

Wide body kit by K
onigseder with $3,000 Palo Uber stickers is more like it. Look to the Future through Palo Uber's vision? NO

There hasnt been any slamming simply asking if there is a difference, and i guess letting people know there ARE cheaper prices available (if they are in fact the same kit)

The only slamming that i could maybe see is in calling them out on the lie about the exhaust. But i feel that that is a totally reasonable action. They can mark up prices all they want....but to lie and say that it's their exhaust pictured in the pic when its not is just false advertising and lying to customers.

from their site:
Shown with the world famous Palo Uber Dual Exhaust system, new vision application exclusively for the UBER WIDE BODY AUTOBAHN KIT..Absolutely devastating visual from behind, with a deep throaty
The truth.....those pics were taken before Palo Uber was even making exhausts. How they could get their exhaust pictured in a picture taken PRIOR to making the exhaust is beyond me. You will find that the exhaust pictured is in fact made by the company who actually made the kit.

They can't charge as much as they want for anything (for whoever wants to pay $3k to buy from them)....but to lie is just downright wrong.

Well, if THIS thread is anything like every OTHER Uber thread, the name-calling will start shortly. Actually, I konda feel that it has. I've never ordered from this vendor (I get sticker shock every time I see his prices) but I know that there are people here that seem to not be able to resist poking him with a stick any time someone complains about him. So far, all I've seen him do is mark-up existing products (allegedly) and use some really dreadful purple prose when describing his products.

Not to mention the fact that the fuzzy picture of the body kit on the PU site iteself is stolen from Konegseder? (part of the same photoset as the konegseder pic RallyMini posted - it has been around for years!!!) The whole thing is blatant theft...

haha: "The Uber components reflect the Uber minimalist approach" (they must mean 'minimalist approach' to designing the thing themselves...)

Mind you, the SF site lies too - they say they offer the kit exclusively...

I think the big question here is not whether or not you like the kit, I don't , but the fact that it is being sold as an exclusive creation of one company when it is in reality a blatant re label of another's and at almost twice the price. I know there was a issue before with the " uber " wheels and this looks like another case of a huge mark up on someone else's product. Maybe they will learn that the " Mini " crowd isn't that gullible.
