Yes, there is another world beyond the 'net, I agree.

I was in that real world a few days ago when I dined at the 'art gallery' which displays PU's fine works. I did not notice any heavy security guarding the $30K works of PU art, nor did I notice the PU works at all. I was quite taken with a $175 work that was near our table, the waiter (sorry Art Dealer) said that he could probably sell it to me for $125, which changed to $100 at the end of our meal I am sure that had we opted for desert, the price would have dropped to $50 and a decent tip.......

I plan on going there again soon, I will take my camera-phone and see if I can get a shot of a cherished PU work. Maybe I can even buy one, I have a spare $20 in my pocket....

What we are looking at here is any number of inconsistent stories, this 'Sir Patrick' character who may or may not be a Knight, this legendary obscure artist that displays fine art in restraunts, a mail-order business with no physical address (mail boxes etc) and products that appear to be re-badged versions, albeit with massive mark-ups.

So, yes, there is a real world, what is not entirely obvious however, is how many of us live in it.

Wheel molds or do you mean arch molds? Either way....i can assure you the original designer wasnt Palo Uber....If you were talking arches....konigseder owns the rights. If you were talking about wheels....the actual designers own those rights. I dont necessarily see your point

Sorry, I meant to say wheel molds. It is possible that Palo Uber desgined one or more of those wheels..

IMO, Palo Uber is not a larger enough company to offset the cost of having the wheels made and could have had "Sport Max" make them the wheels and share in the cost of production.

I am not saying this is what occured just wanted to share another possible explaination to the "wheel topic"

that is possible....but those wheels have been around much longer than Palo Uber has been in the MINI community (and car tuning industry?)...so i find it very improbable. And its definitely not true that they were made by a guy in Munich.

It's pretty safe to say that they are just making it up and claiming it as theirs....unless PU also spent some time working for Sportmax far before starting any car company.

I'm convinced that Passat must be on the PU payroll. How much more obvious can this whole sham be? Enough already...when will they be denied from this forum and site?

I wonder is Sportmax and Konigseder know that Pee You is rebadging/reselling their products. Would be an interesting email to recieve if I had something to do with those companies...
