Look great! Do you have to take out the front embleem first to stick the stripes or the stripes already pre-cut a hole?

If I remember correctly, even when Nemo was in the egg, he had stripes...but your Nemo's stripes look uber-tastic .

You sure about that? You paid extra to get those nice chrome mirror caps and other chrome goodies with the exterior chrome package and have added extra chrome with your stripes and emblem garnishment. Seems like you'd be removing something that makes your MINI looks so good.

Thanks guys!!!

Mike (AC) took the grill badge off to put the stripes on

As for blacking out the grill, I'm doing what ImagoX did, and only doing the inside slats... I bought the car used, so I really didn't 'order' the chrome package.
I'll post pics when I'm done, but it has to warm up here first (since the black out tape says it should be 60 degrees when applied)

As I said in the AMVIV Schedule thread, love the new stripes, especially the chrome.

But... put me down as agreeing with Yucca. I wouldn't black out that grille or any portion of it. I think the chrome stripes look great with the full chrome grille.

I've never been a fan of the blacked out grille on any MINI, but with your chrome stripes, I'm firmly against it.

But hey... you have good taste, obviously, so I'm sure it'll look better than I'm imagining it.

:: chanting :: Black it out! Black it out! Black it out!

It's "FTW"!

I think it will make those flames REALLY "pop".

Well... might not be SO bad.

That front end does look pretty good, Matt. Might be the driving lights among the blacked out grille that help.

The Stripe looks great I think your grill would be better left all chrome
but I tend to be drawn to shiny, sparkly things so what do I know

That will be changed just as soon as Europlates.com sends me my new one! It's been over a month so far (sigh)...

Figures you'd be taking care of that little problem.

What will the Euro plate say ? NANO CAR ? Or is that top-secret ?

I like the stripes! But, given the color and name of the car I was hoping you'd go with some clownfish-ish stripes!
